Rainbow radio in Iran and Afghanistan
It’s difficult to run a resistance movement when you risk being sentenced to death. Regnbågsfonden support Radio Ranginkaman (Radio Rainbow) which is the only media platform for LGBTQ-people in Iran and Afghanistan.
Radio Ranginkaman
The radiostation have existed for ten years and broadcasts daily via radio, satellite, online and on social media in order to reach the community on- and offline (as many doesn’t have access to the internet).
In the absence of safe places for the community in Iran, Radio Ranginkaman tries to be a bridge between the scattered LGBTQ-communities that exist and is often the only way to get in touch and get information about the global LGBTQ-movement.
