We saved peoples lives!

Since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, the situation has become unbearable for LGBTQ people, who runs the risk of facing persecution and aggravated human rights violations such as torture and the death penalty.

In 2021, Regnbågsfonden carried out an emergency fundraiser for the Rainbow Railroad, an organization specialized in helping LGBTQ refugees. Thanks to our fundraiser 100 people have been evacuated from Afghanistan.

Additionally, 300 people got support for their most basic needs and many of them are waiting for evacuation in neighboring countries.
