Emergency support to Turkey
Dicrimination and inequalities increase during crisis and disasters. After the earthquakes in Turkey and the neighboring countries LGBTQ-persons have a hard time to get support from the big aid organizations. The Rainbow Fund support the Organization SPoD that gives crisis support to LGBTQ-survivors.
The organization SPoD
SPoD (Social Policy, Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Studies Association) is one of Turkey’s largest LGBTQ organizations. They work, at a national level, for the full rights of LGBTQ people in Turkey and give individuals psychosocial support and legal help.
